Cruisin...

Hello again everyone! I know its been a while, but I’ve been cruising the open seas, which was my inspiration for this post.

We set sail on the Liberty of the Seas for a 6 day 5 night Royal Carribean cruise to Belize and Cozumel. We had such an amazing time, and didn’t want to come back to the real world!!! I got my tan on, enjoyed all of amenities that the ship had to offer, the fun land excursions, and of course the FOOOD!!! Since the cruise, which was my first, I have done some research on cruise ship interior design and would love to share it with you all!
Photos below of our actual ship and were taken by my amazing boyfriend, Jose. ;)

It is sooo crazy to think that something as large as these structures can actually float in the water!!! It’s like a resort but in the middle of the ocean…pools, a spa, rock climbing walls, mini golf course, flow rider, a mall, a theater, a million state rooms, an ice skating rink, a club, a casino, restaurants, etc. These images and drawings are so inspirational, and I hope to someday be able to be part of such a large scale design like this…whether it’s a resort, yacht, cruise ship, casino, etc.

I especially love the following images and renderings of the cruise ships of the future! These ships take on a much more multi-functional and environmentally friendly design concept that will give you an even greater feeling of being on land rather than at sea! Someday maybe one of us will actually be on a ship like this...can you imagine?!?!?!
